Typical Small Business Website Costs

There really is no such thing as a "typical" website as all of our websites are entirely bespoke and we never use templates. However, to help you budget more effectively, we have listed guideline prices below. All of our hosted packages come with free web statistics, 10 free email addresses and up to 5 free istock images.

Business card style website

Perhaps you are looking for a presence on the internet but are not quite ready for a fully fledged website. If that's the case, then this option is for you. We will design you a single page website for just £149.99. We will even throw in 1 hour of amendments and a years hosting for free (future hosting is charged at an affordable £5 per month). This price includes the sourcing of up to 2 istock images.

6 page website

Slightly more ambitious but essential if you want to showcase your business properly. We will provide you with a 6 page website for just £549.99 and will throw in 2 hours of amendments and 1 years hosting for free (future hosting is charged at an affordable £5 per month). This price includes the sourcing of up to 5 istock images - additional images are charged at cost price.

E-commerce websites

For a website that integrates a third-party shopping cart such as RomanCart expect to pay in the region of £799-£950 plus the cart fee for a product range of up to 25. If your range is greater than this then please contact us for a tailored e-commerce quote and if you have an existing site, then we can add a third-party shopping cart for as little as £145. More bells and whistles?

Amendments to your site

Amendments to your site are charged at a very reasonable £18.75 per hour with most text amendments taking less than 15 minutes to complete. Alternatively we can arrange a maintenance agreement where all text amendments are included in an annual or monthly charge. If you would like to make your own changes, then we recommend purchasing a piece of software called Adobe Contribute (around £160). Fully compatible with the technical infrastructure of our sites, Contribute allows you to make text amendments without affecting site style and consistency.

Website content creation

If you don't have the time to write your own content then we can do it for you. Fully optimised text for your website costs just £30 per page.

Logo Design

Branding is important on the internet and you will almost certainly need a logo. If you don't have one already we can create one for just £54.99.
